Michael Jordan left the game of basketball in 1993, leaving Nike with a 9th Signature shoe that he could not debut on the hardwood. Although, the Air Jordan 9 is the only sneaker that Jordan did not debut in the NBA, this shoe is as dynamic as the guy who didn't wear them that year. While Jordan was not on court marketing his sneakers, he was in Japan on a tour with Nike. This trip was an inspiration for many elements present on the Jordan 9.
